The long-term goal for the Thomas Jefferson football team is securing the top seed in Class 3, Region B. But there’s a more immediate goal this week: securing a winning record. Excluding the years when the Vikings were part of the Jefferson-Huguenot-Wythe complex, a winning record has been elusive since 1976, when TJ went 6-5 and lost in the playoffs to Highland Springs. TJ (5-3) already has matched its most wins since 1995.
